the one & half month vacation trip is upon me. yay! its like a like a reverse tunnnel. 1.5 months of traveling, with the sight of an unknown darkness that grows bigger as the trip comes closer to its end. alas there is always excitement in the unknown and this time its no different.
I stepped out of the bus around 2am. it wasn't rainy so but i you could feel the cold breez of shores of the Baltic sea. passed in front of club revenge (indy club?) to get a taxi. a crowed of angsty university students where loitering out side the entrance. payed off the cabie's fee and once at the 52 regency road, buzzed the round metal button to get in. no answer. a third time still to no avail. what gives? the sign of no vacancy at behind the windows was no promising.
walked south toward the shore line remembering a hotel close by. guess I had to make alternate arrangements this night; not the best way to start this is it; but what is these days.
key points about brighton:
> The pier looks alot better in picture
> non-Londoners are nicer
> fish and chips is good, but what can go wrong exactly
> dover cod is just the same as regular cod but more expensive.
> British accent is annoying after 1 week
> 2for1 deals from the train station
> going to london and doing something useful is a 2 day affair
> moderately acting like a tourist is not a bad thing
> stonehenge is overrated, it was closed when we got there are 4:30 (actually no even rated to begin with)
after a night of driving, a night of salsa, a night of city browsing and another night of salsa, i was off to HK.
