i don't know why but tonight i feel like bloging/reporting what i did tonight since i dont feel like sleeping yet. mood: mellow; music:boy from school by Hot Chip.
tonight kicked off toronto's luminato festival, a celebration of visual arts. Among the many things going on, i went to the harberfront to check out Rafael Lozano-Hemmer's PULSE FRONT: Relational Architecture 12
its basically a combination of 15 light projectors pulsating/beating according to the heart beat of the person who is holding the controls of the projector located right below the light station. its quite remarkable from a distance. from about 20Km away, you feel the heart beat of a random person who is holding the sensors. it gives you a special feeling of connecting with that person. other than that these free city events are good place to go check out the "dokhs" as one of my friends puts it. :).
after grabbing a beer at the boathouse and getting board a little, headed out to Provda Vodka bar. Since there was too many guys there and the weather was good, decided to head to patio's at the beer market instead; where i ended up finishing the night there since they had Staropramen on tap!! thats a Czech beer that is extremely hard to find fresh in the Americas.
mental note, need a review of the boathouse, vodka bar, and beer market done for barcoholics tomorrow.
another amazing night in toronto.
