coachella day 2

Oh it was oh so goood. portishead was absolutely amazing. perfect sound, perfect mood and perfect crowd. kraftwerk set was spactacular as well. so lets start from the top. got in pretty late today and missed a few key shows like kavinsky and others but it wasnt a big deal. the tempreture was 100f so the crazy hot temperature. started off the day with hot chip. i loved the way this guys played, by the time they where done every one was dancing. a few annoying brit weirdos but they made up by their ratardedness. after this was over headed over the beer tent for a feul up. down 2 beers, found the crew and chatting with some dude from midwest got me a few tokes and later on a few more tokes from his buddy who was from toronto.
when kraftwerk was good specially hiroshima. after their set, it was time for portishead. got our roll ready and headed a bit closer.
what can i say, it was worth it. it was be the best show i ever been to. the sound was perfect. beth was on the mark for every song, the new songs were amazing, the old songs where amazing just dont know what to say. completely stunned (even though i was expecting it) guess when you wait 10 yers for a show/album this is what happens. at the end of the set, the drummer yelled out "thanks for waiting" and that is all they said to the crowd.
at this point i was on such a good high, so decided to go to sasha and digweed set. It was surprising how much room you could get right in the front. the crowed who was there were right in it. and sasha/digweed didnt was time to release everybody good beat after beat, once could say almost the best house gets.
all this makes me wonder if tomorrow can top this. i like dark side of the moon, but portisheads performance was of a historic scale for me!
